I still believe what I've always believed: that steampunk (as more than a literary genre) is a realization of the romance in machines, and a yearning for an age where science was art. A silent rebellion against the perils of mass-production and mass-produced culture. Steampunks are artistic deviants who create their own civility, and refuse to lose the beauty of the bygone. We are creating an elegant age, even if we have to make it all up.

And yet it seems like most consider it nothing more than an object style nowadays, or an annoyance. What happened?

I fail to see the romance in another pair of plastic goggles...

Though i just realized that In the season section of moods, there is no Halloween symbol. Grr. So i guess the Reaper works...

The only problem with being a 30's skypirate for halloween is i'm not sure i'll take the costume off.

I saw an add for my movie. To buy as a dvd, and stuff.

So even though i have no internet, and a surprising amount of new photographs that are begging me to upload them (in a nausiating squeeky voice) I am happy.

For the universe hath conspired to bring my camera back to me. First, stupid Mr.Hazelton wouldn't let me walk back home from ob (beach day). So therefore i went all the way back to school. I suddenly had an urge for a drink, and i had 5 dollars i was going to use for the bus (but we used schoolbuses). I went to galaxy cafe, and the guy that served me said, "Hey, did you leave a backpack here a while ago?".

Wierd. Since i left my bag in p.e the day i lost it, and didn't go to the cafe.

But it doesn't matter. More stuff here soon!!!!!!!!
